Periodically, we switch out before and after pictures in this section of our site. Some are new and some are "classics." Some are occupied homes, others are vacancies. Be sure to visit us often to "get the picture!"

HOW WE STAGED IT!

Here, we show two key rooms of a staged home and how they looked before, during, and after staging (the entire home was staged, but we'll focus on these two areas). Unlike "those TV shows," most sellers do not want to invest a lot of money in new furniture and furnishings that may not be a good fit in their next home. Thus, we try to work with existing items. In this house, the seller knew there were some empty spaces and he agreed to rent a few large pieces of furniture to complete the staging. Take a look!

Two two rooms were adjacent...one a living room and the other a family/great room. However, both lacked definition, tables, sufficient lighting, and personality. So, we began work.
The road from "before" to "after" involves a lot of work. Furniture, furnishings, carpeting  may be moved from room to room or even floor to floor. Often, a look in the attic or basement will result in finding pieces that can be repurposed.
Before
After
The results are in! We now have two well-defined areas with sufficient lighting, just-enough accessorizing, and noticeable focal points.

We moved furniture, rented a few pieces for the family room, and used pieces from other rooms to complete each space.
